The Brockville Museum offers a range of options to accommodate your group. We can also customize any package to meet your specific needs. Many groups choose to combine two of the options listed below. Please contact us to discuss group tour options or to book your tour.
Step-On Guide, City Tour
Let one of our docents guide your bus through Brockville’s history. We will highlight some of Brockville’s most notable landmarks and share the stories of the people who called this place home. A great way to introduce your group to Brockville’s rich past from the comfort of your bus. Approximately 1 hour in length.
$80/bus.
Museum Self-Guided Tour
After a brief introduction, let your group explore Brockville’s history at their leisure. Docents will be posted throughout the galleries to answer questions and discuss displays. A great way to give your group a break and allow for a self-directed experience. Allow approximately 30-45 minutes.
$4/person.
Thematic History Talk
Looking for something more in-depth? Our Community Program Coordinator can provide an informal lecture on a range of local historical topics. $50/talk. We recommend allowing 30-45 minutes for this option and combining it with a self-guided tour. Please note that only 25 people can be accommodated for a Thematic History Talk at any one time.
$5/person (minimum $50).
Walking Tour
Explore the history of Brockville’s waterfront and downtown with one of our guided walking tours. We will guide your group of up to 25 people through Brockville’s more unique history. Tours are approximately 90 minutes in length and cover about 3km, starting and ending at the museum. (An amended 60 minute tour starting and ending on Blockhouse Island – and including the Tunnel, when open – is also available)
Cost is $12/person (minimum $80).
